Basin Ridge – Big Bend National Park, Texas

Sorry I’ve been so quiet lately but we had a family emergency earlier this week and it’s rattled my cage a bit. One of my daughters ended up in the ER this week with acute abdominal pain and for a father, nothing hurts as much as seeing your child in pain, and you not being able to do one darn thing about it! She’s home now resting but it scared the daylights out of her mother and I as well as her three sisters. I certainly hope the rest of February is less eventful…

  1. Jeff,
Hope your daughter is recovering well. I know how hard it is to see your child suffering.
    Great shot!

  2. Hi Jeff,

My daughter (17mo) cut her head at daycare and had to get stitches earlier this week. So I understand exactly how you feel. Hope your daughter is feeling better as well has Mom and Dad too!

  3. Beautiful shot Jeff!

Hope all is well with your daughter, I know what you mean. My own daughter was hit by a car a while back (she’s totally fine now) but that was the single worst day of my life up to that point, getting that phone call.
