Wildlife Photography – Togetherness

It’s great to have the chance to shoot these Blue-Winged Teals along with all the other birds that winter here in Southeast Texas. In a few months they will all depart for the northern states leaving us “birders” waiting till next winter for another glimpse of togetherness.

  1. Very pretty shot Jeff. One small point about the commentary though. While the numbers of Blue-winged Teal do drop here in SE Texas during June, July and part of August they are regular residents in SE Texas all year long. In fact Blue-winged Teal even breed in SE Texas.
