Travel Photography – Modern Ruins

I love to explore. Ever since I was a child I’ve loved to sneak into abandoned buildings in the small towns I grew up in. My brother and I would spend hours exploring these buildings with hardly a thought of getting hurt or getting caught. As an adult I’m much more cautious but these modern ruins in Brenham, Texas really caught my eye.

  1. Ive looked at this images several times, and the more I stare at it, the more I just love the dark rich colors! I dont think the lighting could have been any better. Nice capture………..

    • Hey Mark,

I’ve gotten much less brave in my old age. I took this shot from the doorway since the ceiling looked a wee bit unstable.
