Nature Photography – First Sign of Spring

I love living in Southeast Texas! I love our short winters and wonderful spring and fall months. I even love the hot and humid days of summer (except August). Spring comes to Southeast and Central Texas very suddenly most years and the first real signs of spring are the bluebonnets coming into bloom.

  1. I used to live in central Texas and love those bluebonnets. This one is gorgeous. Thanks, Mitch

    • Michael,

I wouldn’t wait that long if I were you. The bluebonnets and indian paintbrushes are both beginning to bloom in Washington county right now!

  2. Hey, really nice one.
    Love the colors.

Seems spring is finally coming 🙂

    • Welcome back and thanks again for reading!

We are blessed here in Southeast Texas with a very short winter and a lovely spring and fall.
