Bird Photography – Pied-billed Grebe

The Pied-billed Grebe is a small diving bird that is quite common on lakes and bayous in Southeast Texas. It is rarely seen flying (it does fly however) and usually dives out of sight when danger threatens. It’s a really fun bird to watch and photograph, especially during the evenings when the light is just perfect.
